In its current exhibition of local artists - which it entitles “Animal” - Austin’s Quattro Gallery has scooped us by hanging the latest painting in Katy Nail’s “Pontotoc” series, before we even have it on display in our own web site *blush*

When Katy Nail went downtown she found the mayor had stolen one of her paintings. Keeping her composure, she started chatting with City Manager Toby Futrell with a view to getting the picture back.
